Choose a room in your home where you can set up your altar, such as a corner of the hallway or an area in a bedroom.
An image of Mary could be your centrepiece.
A small statue of Mary too if you have one.
A prayer card, prayer book a set of rosary beads placed on the altar can also help with devotions.
Have a stool or cushion nearby to encourage family members to stop by and perhaps offer prayers to Mary during the day.
Flowers cut and in a vase as an offering can be placed there too.
Also a small basket with blank slips of paper and a pencil so that during the day family members can write prayer intentions to Mary and offer them up to her.
Possibly a candle could be lit whilst praying before the altar.
