Pentecost
The disciples were praying to God together they were so sad and afraid their great friend was no longer with them He was their guide, their teacher, their closest friend.
But Jesus came to them again and said my peace be with you and he breathed on them and filled them with the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit filled the disciples with courage and strength.
The Holy Spirit asked them to go and spread the Good News.
When we pray we too receive special gifts from the Holy Spirit He gives strength and courage to face all the joys and struggles that we have in life.
He gives us His paece to sustain and strenthen us.
He is always with us because He loves us more than we could ever imagine
Pentecost Sunday is when we remember the Holy Spirit coming to the disciples in a special way and giving them unique gifts which they were able to use to spread the good news of Jesus.

We are all unique and each have our special gifts and God helps us to use those gifts to help others .
